SEUW to Host First Ever 'Day of Action' to Support Partner Agencies Across the Sioux Empire

Sioux Empire United Way (SEUW) is excited to announce the inaugural 2024 Day of Action event, proudly hosted by our dedicated volunteer group, Volunteer United (VU). We extend a warm invitation to individuals and groups alike to join forces in creating a significant and positive difference within our community. In partnership with SEUW's local partner agencies, this event aims to forge connections between volunteers and local organizations, offering insights into their impactful programs and services that directly influence lives in our community. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on projects that support these programs, fostering a spirit of giving back and collective assistance.

The Day of Action event promises a range of hands-on projects and agency tours offering volunteers the opportunity to directly engage with the causes they are passionate about. Whether it's preparing meals, painting furniture, or serving guests, participants can expect a fulfilling experience while supporting agencies that are vital to our community's well-being.

Following the day's activities, volunteers are invited to attend the Volunteer United Annual Celebration from 4-6 p.m. at The Social. This celebration provides an opportunity to connect with SEUW volunteers, board members, staff, and partner agencies, fostering a sense of community and appreciation for collective efforts from the past year.
