Translation Services Grant Fund Application

Sioux Empire United Way is currently accepting applications for the following: 

  • One-time grants of up to $1,000 for local non-profits to translate marketing documents, brochures, resources, etc.  
  • One-time grants of up to $500 for local non-profits for interpreter services. 
    • These grants are available for non-profits within the Sioux Empire United Way service area of Lincoln, McCook, Minnehaha, and Turner counties. These grants are available to both United Way funded and non-funded organizations. 
  • Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds have been exhausted.
  • Interested non-profits must complete the grant application. If the grant is approved, the non-profit recipient will complete the translation/interpretation service and then submit an invoice for reimbursement, up to the approved amount.  
  • Only one grant shall be made available per organization. 
  • Organizations applying for this grant will be notified of the decision within 4-6 weeks. 
  • Sioux Empire non-profit organizations that have gifts which are deductible by the donor for federal income tax purposes according to the Internal Revenue Service.
